My favorite lounge/club in Philly. Bartenders are fuking awesome [Tony/Jessica] and the DJs are always playing bumpin music [Isaac Jordan!]. There are three bars and two dance areas. As it gets into the heat of the night, more people shift to the "main dance area" and bar right next to the silhouetted go-go dancer. DNA Nightlife and other nightlife promotional agencies like throwing events here, so catch those if you want a big crowd. Otherwise, the crowd is usually mixed. On Thursday nights there's no cover and the "main dance area" is closed, so its more of a chills bar. On Friday/Saturdays or during special events, the entire club is open for you to go wild all night long.

I'm not too impressed with this place. When I first got there, I had to stand in a separate line from the "men" and by myself since I went with a bunch of girls I really didn't know. The dance floor was too crowded and it was very difficult to navigate anywhere in the entire place. The decor was too depressing and there was a lot of trash and spilled drinks all over the dance floor. Also, parking was a real bitch and the bouncers weren't exactly friendly.

I'm reviewing the downstairs restaurant. Everyone likes to criticize this place, yet we all end up there when we're plastered on a Saturday night. The greasy appetizers are the perfect cure for drunken cravings. In all seriousness, the chicken teriyaki and fried chicken wings are decent. The spicy chicken wings, however, aren't too good. They're first breaded and then covered in a sweet and spicy sauce, but the sauce just makes the breading soggy and gross. As for entrees, the Fresh Jumbo Garlic Shrimp is excellent. The shrimp are fried in tempura and served on a bed of iceberg lettuce and sliced scallions, with a light, tangy sauce. Their delivery service is great. They get the food to you really quickly and piping hot, but ever since they renovated the place, eating here is nice as well.
