by Amy S. on Got to this bar at about 9 pm on a Saturday night. We were lucky enough to get a table and got there early enough to not have to pay a cover. The band was great! Service was good. It got very crowded as the night went on.

by Ross G. on Excellent Chinese food. I've been going once or twice a year for 10 or so years, and they have definitely stepped up. It was super overpriced before the huge renovation and the food has finally caught up to the price. However I would recommend being careful. Last time I went I got the crab rangoon's (fantastic, real crab! who'd a thunk it?) and got something called "sirloin with Chinese broccoli." I still get super mad at myself for falling for this. Let me explain: beef and broccoli by any other name will taste as sweet. They had "beef and broccoli" for a solid ten bucks less just a bit higher up on the menu! It was the exact same thing, and they had the balls to charge 14 for the beef and broccoli and 24 for the fancy named same thing. I looked over the menu and it looks like they fixed this, both cost 15 now, go figure. Not a big deal, but at the time I tried it and thought "this tastes like a slightly chewier version of what I can get around the corner at dragon star for 8 bucks." Also, I didn't mention that a few years ago, I believe right before they had the massive renovations there was a huuuuuuuuge uproar about the cleanliness of this place. TAB ranked it second dirtiest restaurant in Boston, just a peg above Annas (not that this has ever stopped me from getting a super half steak half veggie at annas). Good luck, make sure to get the rangoons, and keep on truckin.
