This place is  a joke. We went here for a birthday party over the weekend. Approximately 20 adults go out for an evening of drinks and dinner and if you want to be seen as one of the coke whores who spends a lot of money that you probably don't have and who wears little to no clothing too little, then this is your spot. Our server, Gavin, was very cool. He had a great personality and I'm sure he's one of those individuals who wants to be seen because there is no other reason  I could imagine someone wanting to work for such a $h!tty establishment. The menu was small, which is fine, but we had a vegetarian as apart of our group there were hardly any options for her, and today especially in trendy little Hollywood, it's kind of like "really??". The food came out luke warm. My Taco tostada has about 2 cups too many of dressing. It was flat and pretty fast foody - but not for $20. The Margaritas were served in a high glass and the dinkiest trendiest (I suppose) most embarrassing glasses I've ever seen. As the evening went on - various club promoters approached our table and tried to pimp $100 bottle service - after racking up a $1500 bill? Kiss my ass....the restaurant, now club, slowly started to fill with large, angry hollywood reject males and skanky koochie exposed 20 year olds. The bar tenders were pricks with bad attitudes. At one point as the dinner crowd was piling out, I got up to go to the restroom. When I returned, less than two minutes later, our table was completely gone. The chairs were being carried out and there was my purse luckily being handled by my adoring boyfriend....the birthday girl's gifts strewn about the floor, wide out in the open. Needless to say the whole place went from a 7 to a -7 in 10 minutes flat. The roided up and angry "security guards" I like to call them, "deciders of cool enough," started pitching orders and directions at where were all walking and standing and any hospitality that may have been present at La Vida was sucked out of the room, out of the establishment, and right into my car where I drove to the next place I now looked forward to dropping a dime. In closing - HOLLYWOOD: Remember it's not just looks and the exposed V's that count, it's the money too....the money we had, have and were planning to spend even more of at your place - but didn't cause of your sheer deuchiness. Go get your Hardy wear on La Vida

I went last night because a friend was getting bottle service but I can't say I'd go back. The music was pretty good, not a bad crowd either. Although I did not like the Vegas- feel in San Francisco. There were girls working there scantily, butts hanging out. There is a room with stripper poles which I just find tacky. Also, the room with the dance floor has actual grass which is NOT good for my heels.

OMG there is still good electronic music in the city! We had to pay cover ($20), which sucked, but I have to say....I think it was worth it! The main level is a big, open space with electro music. The DJ (paul-also the owner) was amazing and my friends and I didn't stop dancing until 2. Someone mentioned after we left that they were open until 4....but that sounds too good to be true, anyone know? Well, I had to move my car so whatever..... The downstairs has hip hop and rap.  This was perfect because I was with a mixed crowd...some people wanted house music, while others preferred hip hop and I wanted everyone to be happy so I was pretty excited to have all my friends in one nightclub and satisfied...even though this meant I was running up and down every now and then to dance with dif friends. Strong drinks! Great DJs! Good mixed crowd..something for everyone! This place might be my new fav! I wil be back. This Friday and/or Saturday. Seriously. (No 5th star because i don't like cover charges or lines.....and the guestlist line was huge.)
