Basement Bhangra! Went there with a friend, and it was so much fun! We got there before 8pm for the $5 entry and free "mojitos" (really, a sugary mojito-flavored slushy). The lesson starts at 9pm, so you have to plan to entertain yourself for an hour, and perhaps shell out for $10 plus drinks (we realized you might as well go for the mojitos/caiprinhas/etc. since well drinks cost just as much). The lesson was really fun, and gave us enough moves to improvise once DJ Rheka took over. The whole thing had an awesome come-one-come-all vibe. It was a really fun, positive night, I recommend.

I always wondered what a hot and sexy sex club would be like. Perhaps I watched too much Nip/Tuck or Showtime and my expectations were too high. But it's not like I was expecting anything uber glamorous and trendy . . . Oh well! This place could easily get 3 stars, if only it weren't for the club members. As nice as they may be, they are no where near attractive. I don't mean to be rude, but most of the members here are obese, white, and over 30. Can you say cottage cheese? As long as you don't mind that (hell, it might even turn you on) you'll be fine. Their club is pretty clean and there is a very friendly vibe despite all of the naughty bondage items. Their doctors office is pretty sexy and could make for some really good role play. And they have numerous amounts of cages. I kind of felt like I was in a really kinky Britney Spears music video. So . . . as long as you don't mind cottage cheese, this is definitely the place for you and your s&m fantasies.

Stopped by for a friend's birthday the other night and spent most of my time downstairs.  The room is not large but has some seating in the back and a bar in the front area.  Not a bad space for a birthday party.  Music was pretty standard for a Saturday night (top 40, hip/hop) and overall I had a pretty good time althought felt a bit claustrophobic at times because it was so crowded.  I actually kind of like the décor even if its kind of cheesy.  Drinks are not cheap - $18 for a ketel and sprite and an amstel light.  Sigh... New York is killing my liver and my wallet =(
