Great place for throwback, hip-hop music but don't come here if you're expecting to wildly flail your arms & legs to the latest hits. Personally, I prefer dancing to upbeat jams that I can shake it to. The bOb cocktails are rather mild, but very delicious. The White Gummy Bear was a freshly shaken sweet cocktail priced right at $10. Beers were $6 and shots were $8-10. Definitely not overpriced at all. The space is pretty small and got crowded fast at around 10.30p on a Friday night. Also, expect to pay a $5 cover on weekdays. Definitely a negative for me.

***.5 Fake guest list. There was no list. Just shove your way to the front and yell out the name of the promoter over and over, and then maybe they will notice you. The guy at the door, manning the velvet rope was a twat but lucky distracted by his brainless bouncers. The exclusive-ness this place tried to portray was a little ridiculous. After we made it pass the mess out front, the girls and I was in party mode so everything was great. Bottom floor was dancing, a vodka tonic was 13 dollars, not much diversity in the crowd, but everyone seem to be enjoying themselves. There was a few tables trying to recruit people to seat in their booth. Sit down, drink their free booze, and dance on the booth with your pumps. That's how we did it. This was my first NYC clubbing experience. Good times, I suppose.

I went with a group of friends and they wouldn't let in one of our hispanic friends bc of his "tennis shoes". He was dressed exactly like everyone else except for the shoes. After some arguing they let him in. I then decided to walk around and count how many white people had tennis shoes on in the bar... lets just say I lost count.
