by R O. on The place is weak!! We went there last Saturday and the cover was crazy. The people in there ran the spectrum, a lot of good looking, people, both men and women, who were just there having a good time and actually being hot and fun. But then there were the absolute tools, again, both men and women. Way too many Ed Hardy style shirts and pumped up bar-body, wanna be tough guy types. They mixed in nicely with the "Oh my God, I'm so outrageous, look at me girls". You know the ones, who think they can just charge through the crowd knocking people over because they're drunk and good looking. Of course, that's to be expected in any club but it was the vast majority of the people there. I don't know if the DJ was the usual one or one of the special guest DJ's, but God I hated the way this guy worked. Every time a decent beat came up and people started moving to it, he'd change the beat. Not just changing songs in the same beat range but totally changing the whole thing, made it pretty much impossible to get into dancing, unless you were totally rolling. The funniest was watching the go-go dancers yelling at the DJ every time he switched out. We counted and he was changing songs about every 20 seconds, serously? Not worth the effort
by Leif Gowing on butt cheeks. there are exposed butt cheeks here. all the time. i have a tough time with this.. on the one hand, rumor is a horrible hell hole where tacky sluts come to run amok, hooking up with one scary penis after another. and that makes me sad. it really does. because of this, i find the men to be INFURIATING. they are horrible, and forward, and persistent, and all things bad. and i really think it's because of the women that come here. no where else in boston do women dress THIS blatantly whorish. when i mentioned butt cheeks earlier, i was not referencing low-pant situations. no, no, i'm talking girls in BeBe dresses SO short that their ass cheeks LITERALLY hang out the bottom, like runaway buns or something. it's just terrible. "danger, danger will robinson" another con: i go on tuesdays, because that's the night that i can get in. i know people there on tuesdays. SOMETIMES, there are these two BUFFOONS dj'ing that LOVE LOVE LOVE to hear themselves talk. it makes me suicidal when they're there. sometimes they're not, so each tuesday i head out to rumor, i pray they have laryngitis and/or are terrorizing other poor club-goers. i don't know who they are, but i absolutely despise them and their constant "WHAT WHAAAAAT"'s the good: i go on tuesdays and strangely, i usually have a REALLY good time. i go with girls that are to-the-max kind of dancers, we shake it all night, and go home. fun. be ready to wait forever to get in or just get there super early. i'd venture to say, that if you don't know people at the door, it's going to suck hard. for the record, i know that's not cool. :/ 3.5 somewhat confused stars...

Other than that, Being coralled in the small bar room by some half a$$ bouncer at the entry to the Dinner room was doin' a little too much if you ask me. Only having 3 Bartenders in that front bar where 300 people were ordering practically the SAME drink, and averaging 10 minutes to get a damn drink is ridiculous. DJ - you ROCKED with the house music, but with such a diverse crowd, you could have slipped a little better hip hop selections just for a little while. As far as sampling, I don't know, is it just me, or were they only passing around lil thin french bread toast with burnt tomatoe filling? Oh yeah, I saw ONE dish with the blueberry thing. All I know is that from what i've been told (not just by rateclubers) I'm glad I didn't spend even $40 for that meal. Supperclub has a great concept, but like Omid mentioned...this place is Communism (Great idea bad implementation) I mean really...you could have treated the people there alot better considering that pretty much all of them are going to post opinions on a site that pops up first when google searching places. Good luck getting repeat customers. And Supperclub people, if you're going to make any changes, be sure to fly to Montreal and check out Time Supperclub beforehand.
