I dont go out to Cambridge. If my reviews weren't evidence for that enough - so getting me to come here took 2 years. But I seriously re-considered my decision after having a great time at Middlesex. Granted it's the company that really made the night but a certain number of factors about this place certainly contributed. Namely.... 1. The table we had without having to pay for anything to get it. 2. The awesome rum punch that was served. 3. The really fun music that was being played (although i will admit the DJ did get slightly ADD as the night progressed and played songs for a total of 15 seconds before changing it) 4. Running into old friends (ok this isn't directly due to MS...but still) Just make sure you get there before 11 or be ready to wait for a while. The place is nothing visually spectacular at all, but come with a fun group of friends and it's a great time.

This new lounge is tucked away in midtown and is perfect for an intimate date or a spot to relax after work.  It's somewhat hard to find located on Piedmont between 9Th and 10Th underneath the Helmet Salon.  I began to like the fact that it is off the beaten path because I felt like I found a gem that no one else knew about.  Kat's Cafe is owned by a husband and wife and named after the wife Katarina her Husband Mike is responsible for the beautiful decor.  Great staff great atmosphere.  The staff has a way of making you feel at home as they remember your name throughout the visit. I think that is very remarkable seeing as how at times the places gets very packed.  I went on Fridays where they have a happy hour called Martini Fridays.  The martinis are great I'm in love with the "lady sings the blues" and better then that they are $5 from 5pm - 9pm.  The Appetizers are $3 and i was pleasantly surprised that they were a good portion size (hence the discounted price).  I'm not a crab leg fan but after I tried their crab legs i fell in love.  The crowd is very professional and laid back.  This is my new Friday spot  after work!
