On a whim, we opted to head over here last Friday after dinner at One Midtown. Not too crowded to get in, and the place was manageable. I hear the music on Thursday is more what I would be interested in, but it was great to people watch. The Strawberry Martini was a !0!! nice decor, great upscale feel. The techno dancefloor was dead, could do better if they would switch it up. Huge perk, the people were AMAZING eye candy, no complaints there! Egos were not too bad either... PS - the no ego could be that the girl that accompanied was a complete knock out that night and stole all the attention when she walked into the room!

If you prefer a snobby host/wait staff and overpriced froo-froo mexican food, then this is the place for you.  I won't be going back.

Went there last night, 4/4 for the Sasha & Digweed show. The show, of course was amazing, you're watching the masters at work. If the music didn't make you fly then the light show certainly did. I think the place had to been over it's 3500 capacity, the place was jammed. I was in the VIP section and peered over the railing a few times to watch the crowd and caught sight of people standing on things to see, the floor was so crowded. Generally it was a sea of of waving arms.I caught sight of a few glow-sticks here and there, which made me giggle, haven't seen those babies in a while and it brought back memories. Ah, the VIP section, a place where you can dance, drink, walk around, flirt and have a good ole time. It's up a bazillion flight of stairs, you'd think you were climbing the Matterhorn to get up there, but the view and the atmosphere is damn worth it. Don't get your knickers in a twist because I was in VIP, although truth to tell, if I don't get VIP I don't go to a show. No, it's not "how I roll," I'm not self-important, this my darlings is what I do to get shoes in the closet. This is work. If I can't comfortably see a show..... I love, love, love the freedom of the third floor balcony. I love the fact that I can go behind the boards and stand at the railing and dance in that tiny section while the board guys- the techs are working in front of me. I remember, I think it was the Chemical Brothers or was it The Crystal Method show that VIP had a bunch of four poster beds with gauzy curtains set up, and Oh I remember.....just don't remember everything...ah well, when you're having fun... The sound is so clear and crisp and envelopes you. You literally float away dancing. There's a a couple of rooms off the third floor that look like they popped in from the old Limelight. Suddenly I am an old club kid in high school looking for trouble.
