We came here on a Saturday night and there's a huge line for guest list. As we got in line, of one our friends told us that they have a rule here: guy to girl ratio must be even, as in 1:1. Excuse me? Did I hear this correctly? Last time I've checked, this is not Vegas. Okay, that's fine. We had more than enough female in our group. At Infusion, it's $10 cover charge for guest list, regular $20. Furthermore, guest list closes at exactly 11PM, even if you're already in line, they will make the cut off in front of the line, not according to the last person entering the line.  Therefore, if you noticed that you're not going to make it in time, forget it, go through the general admission for faster entry. Inside, the decor is simple and modern. There are two rooms: one hip-hop and the other was house/trance. They have this long stage that's connected to the Dj for go-go dancers. The crowd was.. eh - majority of Asians, Indians, and Hispanics. Drink wise: 2 shots of Crown, 2 shots of Goose, 1 long beach, 1 vodka red bull, and 1 kamikaze = $71 without tip. The drinks were small; the bartender didn't even make the kamikaze correct. The shots were given in these tiny disposable plastic cups. Hmm.. alright. As midnight came around, it got extremely crowded. There was no room to dance or move around. I don't understand why they would leave the go-go dancers' stage empty when people didn't even have any room to dance? At the end of the night, I have to ask myself if I would come back to Infusion...only if I have table service. There was no place for you to sit down and rest your feet. The lounges were only available to those that have bottle service. Otherwise, you're on your feet the entire night. * 1 star for friendly bouncers/staffs/hot go-go dancers. * 1 star for clean and coordinated restrooms. * 1 star for good music.

Well, well, well. A place that lives up to its incredible hype machine. Sheeit.  I didn't even want to go in here based on the oozing hype. I imagined it had been talked about so much, there was NO WAY it was going to be that good. I was wrong. It wasn't just good, it kind of blew my socks off. It was a Sunday morning/ afternoon and my lovely girlfriend was out of town. After about 5 or 6 text messages to various friends, none of which were game for lunch, I decided to get on my bike and go for a ride. While on this ride I decided to jaunt down to Olde City to see what the fuss was about. I sat at the bar. The bar tender came over. I ordered the "build- it- yourself" Bloody Mary. It was pretty awesome. There is a little station at the bar with various fix-ins for your bloody drink. Ordered the Western Skillet. It was delectable. It came on one of those ceramic coated cast iron skillets. It was pipping hot, the potatoes where nice and crunchy on the outside and soft and yummy on the inside. There was a healthy helping of crushed bacon, onions, and green peppers mixed in all topped with some good ol' fried eggs. The service was rad. The bartender was attentive, made a lil small talk, and took great care of me. The dj-ish guy played some good mellow tunes that made both the yuppie and the hipsters sing along from time to time. The ambiance was key. The lighting was dim and the decor made me feel like I was in the middle of some northern English pub. I liked it. I'll be back soon. I'll bring friends. thank you National Mechanics. Thank you for living up to the hype.

I like the atmosphere... and I was feeling my lychee martini. I have yet to try other stuff here.. wish the bathrooms were a little bigger tho :) Haha.. and easier to find since they were behind those curtains...
