by Julian L. on This place is one of the few clubs I actually enjoy going to in NYC. It is well decorated and drinks are reasonably priced for a club. It is a lot more spacious than the other popular asian club known as Circle. There is more room to dance and a bit more diverse when compared to Circle. The trick to getting in with a minimal wait is either be there before 10:30 pm, or go after midnight with more girls in your group than guys. Otherwise just get bottle service. Friday nights: guestlist closes at 11:30 pm, $15 cover for guys if on the list. Free for ladies till 11 pm. The bouncers like to hold up the line for no apparent reason though, so even if you get there at 11 pm, it doesn't mean you will get in by 11:30 pm. Your best bet is to look for someone holding a clipboard (aka a promoter) and tell them you signed up for the guestlist so they will give you a little ticket that gives you the discount. after guestlist closes, it is a $20 cover for everyone I believe. girls can definitely negotiate though.
by Krupa U. on The pictures of Eden seem really cool with all the white furniture, drapery, and iridescent lighting, but looks can definitely be deceiving. The club is really trying hard to portray something they are not... which I will get into later. There's two different levels or areas within the venue. I've had the opportunity to experience both. The bigger area with a large bar in the middle and all the beds off to the side is cool but the really "street" looking brick walls indoors against the pure white furniture just isn't working and neither are the plastic leaves glued to the walls. The smaller area is actually much more appealing to be in. Unfortunately, with all this space... they really don't manage to fill the venue even to half capacity! I think the problem is their music.... They had a 40 something guy DJing, playing REALLY OLDDD Tracks.... I mean like top 40 from the 90s... and that was pretty much it. I just felt like I was stuck in a time warp. I'm not trying to be ageist or anything, because there's some really awesome older DJs out there, but this guy wasn't one of them. This place has some real possibilities but they need to do some real good promotions and get some new DJs playing some hot beatz from today!
