Pros: + Great sound system + Stellar band and DJ lineups + Great space + Awesome lighting (depends on the artist/DJ) + Will stay open past 2 AM for certain events + Nice upstairs area Cons: - Horrible parking! Difficult to find and sketchy - No ins and outs - Expensive drinks - Sketch neighborhood - Security can be inefficient and sometimes problematic
by Taylor Du on I've danced and taught social dancing for years in Austin. I love swing salsa, ballroom, and country. Dallas is one of the best dance venues in Austin. They have great crowds, good dancers, and Lisa M. goes there occasionally! She's the person with the last review here on rateclubs. I like it on Thursdays - if you're a salsa dancer, and Fridays - if you're a country dancer. Other nights are for everyone else :-)
