This place is nice looking, clean, has lots of interesting nooks and crannies and an elaborate wooden bar, and sports a terrific rooftop deck with it's own bar and restrooms and a fireplace.  Sofas and low chairs, as well as tables and stools, can be found on the rooftop deck.  When the air is cold, heaters provide big pockets of warmth so that everyone remains comfortable. I tend to go to Fado's with groups of friends - sometimes for conversation at a table in a nook, sometimes for dancing on the lower floor, sometimes to hang out and talk on the rooftop deck.  I have only eaten the food one time - it's right next to the library and I was hungry so I tried the Irish breakfast - it was ok. I like the rooftop deck the best. The usual crowd seems to be grown-ups in their late 20's to middle 40's.  Dress is normally between business casual and slightly sexy.  The ladies definately tend to wear cute things, but more dressy than in a nightclub.  The men often wear jackets, but some wear jeans and t-shirts.  It should not be confused with a classic dive bar or a country bar or a night club.  If that is your expectation, another place will suit you better. I think prices are typical for an upscale place in this area.  Places I have been where the regular price of a draft beer is $3 are very different from Fado's (dive bars or country bars - love 'em). It is also not a 'real' Irish bar, in that it is not in Ireland and Buckhead is not old enough to have 400-year-old bars. Fados is  fun!

have had some crazy times here on Friday nights known as Miss Kittys, have to be openminded and ready to see just about anything, I have always had fun here, but I am a very openminded person, love all kinds of music , and here there is a mix of music, people, and vibe. It seems like people here just let loose and don't really care who is looking or why,  I think the vibe is good, they have shows every now and then, the bartenders are often very attentive to you, and cool, its been a long time since I have been here though, but had to give a shout out, cause always had sum wild times here

great lounge atmosphere - cant speak for the dinner experience, but i enjoyed having some appetizers and a drink in the lounge.  the decor is dark and cozy.  love the lighting and the curtains everywhere.  lots of seating too.  my cousin and i shared 3 plates of the meze appetizers - you can choose from the menu (1, 3, 5, or 7 plates).  we chose the calamari, tzatziki vegetables, and the goat cheese.  all were delicious!
