Go Giants! Fear the beard!

Got a great last minute deal via Priceline so decided to stay at this historic hotel.  Our room was a good size, comfy mattress and bedding.  The bathroom was a bit small, but served its purpose.  A nice modern look to what is really an older hotel.  Service was good.  Check in was quick and friendly and the valet was also very nice (everyone always asking us how we were doing). Location is great.  Right next to all of the touristy Hollywood sites (which tend to get boring after about 2 hours), but super close to Highway 101, public transportation, and some of the main drags in the area (Sunset, Highland, Vine, etc.). Overall a good place to stay, but I probably wouldn't pay the price they usually ask for ($200/night average).... hint: Go to http://Priceline.comand select a 4-star hotel in the Hollywood area... The Roosevelt and only one other hotel are considered 4-star... got our room for $135.

I gave this place 3 stars because it's a really nice club inside. There were no snappers and the music was OK. The drinks were OK, not too strong, but "eh". My friends and i went on a saturday back around thanksgiving. There were people there. I liked the fact that the parking garage was free and no too far away. The DJ sucked, couldn't mix in music. We even had some dead time. Luckily we were on the guest list and paid $5. I would only go again if it's $5..tehe ;)
