by Joy C. on We went for a bachelorette party and got to stay for the clubbing right after dinner with no cover charge! Place is super spacious. There is even a rooftop terrace where you can enjoy the lights on the hills of SF. So beautiful! I don't know if others feel the same way, but the drinks on the terrace are a bit stronger than the ones downstairs. Either way, the music gets going and it won't matter at that point.
by Chris H. on I went here with my partner and his friends during a visit to Miami and it is a great place! When you hear the name you would think it's some corny place with drag performances like in The Birdcage, but nothing could be farther from the truth. It was nicely decorated, nicely lit and HUGE. There was a cover of course, but the guys who collected it were not rude at all as is normally the case. The other patrons were young, attractive, and not formal at all. This is a gay club after all. The music was great if you like Latin house, classic house, hip hop, etc. It is definitely not Top 40, which I thought was great. My only problem was how loud the music was, and trust me it was LOUD. I actually woke up the next afternoon not being able to hear normally. It took about a day for my hearing to be restored, and I'm pretty sure some permanent damage was done to my ears. The drinks were FANTASTIC!!! If you've never had a Blue Long Island Ice Tea, try it here. You can start a tab with no problem. This place is gay clubbing at its best. Try it!
by Casey Picerno on The only thing packed tighter than the patrons in this place are the hidden "charms" of the trans beauty queens. If you like hooting and hollering in an overly crowded perpetual bachelor/bachelorette party while eating overpriced mediocre food and sipping overpriced (but admittedly tasty) cocktails, you'll love it. It's fun enough to watch pretty boy/girls, but I can walk down Polk street, eat a better meal at any number of places, then stop into Divas and see the whole crew after they get off work for free. Three stars for the girls who keep smiling throughout the whole night, while working a sardine can packed room in some very precarious heels.
