Some friends and I were on the guest list for a birthday party and when we got to the door, the girl wanted to charge us guys $15 saying the guest list is full however the ladies are free. As if it was my fault that it was a sausage fest at their club. So we left and went somewhere else. Don't lie and put people on a guest list saying it's free and then charge them at the door once they drive there! So if you are on a guest list and you are a guy, be prepared for a sausage fest, cover charging scam!

This restaurant is beautiful. It's hard to tell what it looks like from the outside but once you walk in, it's like this huge open space. It wasn't crowded at all the day we went. Our server greeted us right away. I have to say this restaurant itself is amazing and I would definitely go back but to the bar area. Dinner was just "meh." Nothing was special about the dishes we ordered. They were all bland and the side of fried rice is so not worth the money. We also had sushi and the rice was kind of hard. The drinks were pretty good though. Food was overpriced and we didn't feel very satisfied at the end of our meal. Go for the decor and drinks. Get better food somewhere else.

I went to Temple for my bday celebration, and erm..uh..my memory wasn't all there later on in the evening at Temple, but I guess that's what made the night so good. I love that the place is huge on the inside, and definitely nice decor. I had fun bouncing between the catacombs at the bottom floor (more hip-hop type music - my kind of music!) and the main floor where they play trance-like music and go-go dancers come out. The shots were STRONG (unless my friends asked for double shots on purpose...grumble...) and I am hoping the price was on par with other places around the city. The only advice I give to people is do NOT FORGET to sign up on the guest list, and show up relatively early to avoid hassle and pain. They are pretty anal like most places about it, and like other places in the city they like to keep you outside queueing for half the night to look "popular." The managers get pretty grouchy when you try to talk to the lady manning the list (and she's no help. Really.) Though $20 cover seems pretty normal, save yourself strife and just sign up. All in all, lots of fun!
