Look, I went to your stupid event @ the Starlight Room and I don't understand why you, at the age of 25, think that this place is even remotely fun or exciting or in any way. Fair enough - I'll concede your point that the bartenders do make excellent drinks. The martinis are very tasty, which, at $10 each for whatever well pour they have, had better be good. And, I'll freely admit that on a clear night, the view is nice - spectacular, really. But the music is terrible. And I mean, really, really terrible. The staff is...pushy, when they don't need to be. Not as bad as Medjool but it's getting fairly close. And there's just no reason to come here for the crowd either. I understand the appeal in cougar hunting, but the hot ones aren't here, and if you're really looking for that let's just go up in the Marina and save ourselves the annoyingly stuffy elevator ride.
by Rashad Hevner on Guaranteed Good Time! Bob is a hole in the wall so it gets packed with the quickness. Music is off the chain & drinks are stronger than NYC standard. Get there earlier for more Top 40's type music. The end tends to get more intense on the reggae. Pick your beat to dance to is what I'm getting at. Superfriendly bouncers & bartenders with killer smiles! Plus a DJ who doesn't give a flying sh*t about what kind of music you want to hear, but still manages to deliver some good beats. Can you ask for more when asking for a place that spins hiphop til you are sweaty, your hat flies off to the arms of another dancer, and you are dancing on someone else's @$$ unintentionally?
