by Princeton A. on The venue is too small.... duh if thats an issue for you then you should have checked that out before going there. There are too many girls.... thats the way it works otherwise the guys will be fighting each other literally. Everyone inside the club looks and dressed the same, well it is hollywood. People are not creative here, they just wear whatever they see on The Hills or Jersey Shore Its always overcrowded and the music is always loud.... excuse me, but it is a nightclub right? Honestly I like this venue except that the owner over did it with the freakin' stupid ass tables on the dance floor. The urban night on Sundays were also a bad idea which was the cause of the shooting that eventually closed the venue. New clubs opens in Hollywood all the time. by Elizabet Sieverding on I would give Nikki Midtown three and a half stars if I could for several reasons. First of all, for those who gave low ratings - it's a eurocentric club located in Midtown East, so what do you expect? The door policy is so-so; of course it helps if you are a pretty, young girl OR surrounded by pretty young girls, but like most large clubs, that is expected. The drinks are pricey but again, ten dollars and up is the norm for more upscale venues. The crowd includes a lot of foreigners and out-of-towners, and I think it's a good introduction for non-New Yorkers to a (if not more stereotyped) typical night out in New York. I've brought family members from out of state to Nikki, and they've loved it. Personally, I go to Nikki maybe once or twice a year, usually with a group of girlfriends, and I go there because I am in that particular mood that calls for a cheesy night out replete with platforms for dancing and house music.
by Matt T. on I have only known this place as a bar, but i recently gave it a try as an eatery. Not bad at all - i just let the great bartender lady help us out with the decisions. The overall table service was a bit spotty - so eating at the bar was a good way to go. Bonus Review Item: Thank you Mr. "I bitched out every employee in the restaurant because my food came in a few minutes after some people who ordered later than I did ." You are one cool dude.
