Formerly the legendary Mood. MyStudio rocks I like the concept and the interior after all its the same owner, same management and same designer as MyHouse and Eden. Yes its small and pretentious.... with a hint of vegas. This is the future of Hollywood clubs. Small and packed with tables with trashy girls every where. If you don't have a table then you will feel like you are standing in someone's way. Groups definitely need to buy bottle service. I'm currently helping out on Thursdays here and its not easy to get in. The venue is still in its attractive white crowd and bottle service phase. By April, new promoters will take over and start charging cover, the crowd will deteriorate and the battle to stay cool will start. New clubs opens in Hollywood all the time. To find the best option for you, just message me on rateclubs or check out my website. eVita Parties provides Hollywood Guest List to Hollywood Clubs & Los Angeles Events.

I took my boyfriend here for his birthday, since we've been getting into jazz and blues lately and we had a great time. I was a little concerned about the scene, since we're in our mid-twenties... I assumed that perhaps everyone there would be my parents' age and we would feel awkward. There were several young couples there however so it was all good. The performer that night was EC Scott and she put on a great show, working the crowd like a comedian and serenading all the men in the audience. We ordered waaaaaaaaay too much food because it all sounded so good. Next time we will probably avoid the sampler platter as an appetizer because it's just too much fried food for 2 people in one sitting. We also had the crab cakes which were very good...nice and crabby. The basket of biscuits was probably my favorite because they were so flaky and buttery. Besides, the experience would not be complete unless we had some biscuits with our blues. My mojitos were a little weak, but that was fine since I had been drinking the night before and just wanted something light and refreshing. The birthday boy ordered the bayou tea, which was sort of like the southern answer to the long island ice tea. Needless to say it was stronger than the mojitos but still tasty enough to go down easy.

This place is great! It is always classy and the drinks are cheap. We hosted out Brown, Columbia, Stanford happy hour here last night and it felt like a close friend's living room.
