I have been here twice now, and both times have been incredible. I had the filet both times, which is delish. But, the side dishes are almost better. Get the truffled mac and cheese. I have never had better mac and cheese before. But, all of the side dishes are great. It is pricey, but well worth it.

I went to the Emerald Pub last night for the first time in about a year, and boy has it changed! What was once a grungy Irish pub with a lot of character and a bar full of space for me and my coworkers is now a trendy lounge decorated like a gothic ski lounge and packed with a classier after-work crowd. They have an amazing happy hour with 1/2 price drinks (ALL DRINKS!). I was able to get an Absolut with club soda for just $4!! They have several large tables with long, comfortable booths and tons of barstools, making it a great place for large groups. The jukebox is full of classic, sing-a-long rock tunes. The Emerald Pub is definitely worth checking out, because you WILL have a good time here!

I'm so glad I decided to celebrate my bday this past Saturday at the grand re-opening party! It was hosted by Donovan, which meant that the crowd was beautiful and the music was on point. There was adequate dancing space all night too which is a BIG plus (I am NOT a fan of being elbowed or having to jab my elbows out while dancing to protect my dancing space!). And the bartenders were quick and attentive. I swear Thrillist said they would serve tapas, but I think that was a lie...
