Call it Steampunk, call it Roaring 20's.. but this place has nailed it on beautiful architecture & atmosphere. Park around the corner for $5 and walk through the alley, perfect entrance for a speakeasy feel. The thing I like about it is, No Cover! In LA, damn, in the Southern California region, that's a treat. But don't worry they make up for it in the prices downstairs, once you get in. Dress up, at least put on some nice shoes and shirt - they're pretty strict about that. My friend was having a 20's themed birthday party, so that wasn't a problem for the big group of 15-20 people who were told in advance. Hey it's their bar, it's their rules.. Whatever, it all makes it more fun anyways. I missed the .35 cent Martini's which I was looking forward to. But got a $8 Stella for myself and a Cranberry Vodka ($11) and a cute little bottle of Absinthe ($8) from the Absinthe fairy for the birthday girl. TRY The Edison - it's their signature concoction. A little citrus-y, and cinnamon-y and amazing. It gets crowded and hard to walk around inside, especially each time the burlesque dancers came on stage. When we got there we all just walked in and when I left around 12:30, the line outside was a block long, just to get to the doorman. So get there early or be prepared for an 1-2hr wait (With a wait like that, unless you have a table, I don't think it's worth it).

Attended a 1 year anniversary for a close friend's company here and the space was AMAZING! Great layout, gorgeous views and beautiful but minimal furniture. The outside area was my favorite place to be :) --K

Went here for a friend's bday party. We were seated in the private corner area, since there was a UFC matchup on projector in the main dining area. My 3 friends and I quickly ordered salmon kabobs w/ teriyaki sauce, coconut shrimp, and Italian pizza to share since we were heading to another party (w/ more food) after. The veggie pizza was more flavorful than the Italian. The coconut shrimp tasted artificial. The salmon kabobs were good. Service was friendly and fast. Good to watch games here. Reasonable prices.
