by Lane Centrella on Another discovery thanks to rateclubs. I drove by it twice because traffic was so heavy and I could not see where the place actually was. I went here on a rainy Saturday night and parked across the street for $5.00. It was also $5.00 to get in. Talk about underground! It was a steep walk to the dance floor but it was great to actually have space to dance at a club for once. There were older and younger adults and some girls even got on the stand near the DJ and started dancing. I have not listened to techno or dance music since the 90s. The DJ did play two rap songs "Low" by FloRida and "How Low" by Ludacris but they were dance remixes. Arrived at 11:30 and my friend and I were the only ones on the dance floor. By 12:30 it was packed and many people brought their drinks and since the majority of people on the floor were dancing, there were many spilt drinks that night. I made sure to avoid the middle of the dance floor. Great place to go if you want to avoid the hassle of waiting in line and having to pay money for a VIP booth if you want a seat like at other Atlanta area clubs.
by Earnest Simoson on I don't think I'm capable of saying anything that hasn't been said before. This place is the foremost dive bar I can think of in Center City. This is where you want to go for cheap drinks. This is where you go for cheap, food you could have made yourself but would rather someone else defrost and cook that burger and throw it onto a roll that was $1/doz. If you're in the mood for cheap drafts and cozy laid-back atmosphere, then this is the place.
by Irene F. on Lame. Granted we only came around 3 am after a night of heavy drinking at Impala, but even with our exceptional level of intoxication and no cover, it still sucked. It's like a party in someone's basement, except with some really stuck up people. I guess if you do massive amounts of drugs it could be fun for like 45 minutes, but even on like seven drugs at once I can't see this place being much fun. The music was pretty weak, the biggest problem, and the only thing available to drink was water or red bull. Whatever. I'd have more fun playing drinking hang man in my buddy's flat than here.
