I like this place because it's accessible from the Drag. I'm not a Tex-Mex type of person but I do love their drink specials and their Club Sandwich is really good! No really, it's made with care and sincerity! They have awesome margaritas. I love their House Margaritas and most of their flavored margaritas too (pomegranate and raspberry). It's always crowded but if you don't mind that, then this place is perfect. Plan ahead on busy nights/college nights. The waits aren't that long. The staff are very courteous.

I was at Greenhouse last night for an event. The guest list was a hot mess, as was the line that followed the corner around the avenue. My group had to wait for 30 minutes (possibly more) in the freezing cold. I came to realize that we were waiting for the bar to open downstairs because they had over-packed the main floor. Finally, they let us in and ushered us downstairs to this small room surrounded by leaves. Fall surrounded us from every angle! The "green" theme was felt everywhere. The drink of choice was absinthe- and green (go figure).. and gift bags were everywhere! The couches lined the walls, and were pretty comfortable. The crowd was mixed with your typical trendy NYC socialite, and TVs elite homosexuals. I dug it! The best part of the night (aside from the absinthe) was the music. Their Thursday night DJ was awesome, playing mash-ups, and the ever-current Kanye. I never got to see the upstairs, but I heard it was insanely packed, and colorful. If you make it downstairs, check out the sinks in the bathroom- totally rad!

The Majestic Diner is your typical greasy spoon, but it is also part of Atlanta history: it's been open since 1929 (and the inside still looks it!).  Some Atlanta-area friends brought me here late one night after a Braves game.  I had a veggie omelet.  The sweet tea was definitely Southern, so that was a plus.  Food is typical for this type of eatery, but the people-watching is better.  Majestic is open 24/7.
