I will never forget my visit to Morimoto. I took my now fiance there for his birthday the first year we started dating- so this review is from an experience I had almost 4 years ago. Even though i dined there 4 years ago, my review is completely valid in the fact that I have never gone back because of my original experience. The atmosphere is cheesy, just like all Steven Starr restaurants. Makes you feel like you are stuck in an Austin Powers movie. Anyway, I had a lobster dish and my fiance had a special - some rare meat. We had a couple of drinks, nothing out of the ordinary. The food was good. The steak my fiance had was probably the most tender meat I have ever eaten. The bill came, and it turned out that delicious steak my fiance ordered off the special menu was a staggaring $25 per ounce. He had an 8 ounce steak. Yes, he ordered a $200 steak - i told him he wasn't allowed to shit for a week after this. Luckily, I had the money to cover the enormous $300 bill, and $60 tip. The server completely neglected to mention that this steak was $25 per ounce, a tidbit of information that would have been useful while ordering. I almost threw up when i paid the bill. Because of this experience, i will never eat here again. I felt completely cheated. Thank god i ended up getting engaged to the person I took out to eat here.

The bouncer of this club was a racist and never allowed "non-Koreans" to get into the club by using the excuse of they were having a "private party" inside. The attitude of the bouncer was also very poor and arrogant. I will never go to this club again.

A visit to the aquarium is the perfect way to spend a hot weekend afternoon in Atlanta. I definitely have to agree with Corrie N. and say that the Ocean Voyager exhibit was awesome! I could have spent hours just sitting in the viewing room at the end watching the animals swim around! There are also opportunities to swim / dive in that tank with the whale sharks, although I haven't really researched how much that costs... Anyways, we went around 4 pm last Sunday (the aquarium closes at 5) and got HALF PRICE admission. If you don't have kids and also have no desire to see 'Deepo's 4-D Ocean Adventure,' I'd definitely recommend making it in for the half-price tickets. You'll have plenty of time to see all of the exhibits and even some time left over for the gift shop if you're so inclined!
