by Jill C. on I felt really violated the way the doormanwent through everything in my bag. He even opened my pills, loudly commenting "You have problems with anxiety." After paying the $20 cover, being inside for a couple of hours, same guy researched me on the way back inside and sent me back to my car with some of my bags' contents. I just left. It wasn't worthwhile to leave stuff in my car to get broken into.
by Jewelyn T. on Okay, so I had a fashionshow at the Kress last night. The GM decided to cancel all guestlist for the night... I'm guessing due to Busta Rhymes performance. Everyone in the fashion show invited guest to come... we had over 300 angry guest outside because they weren't letting anyone in until 1030/11 instead on 10 and they cut all guestlist! I heard they were charging $30/person and even told one of my friends that he had to buy bottle service to get in. LAME! Besides bad management this place is OKAY. Multiple levels. Rooftop is lovely. Cool sushi bar. Not liking the elevators... waiting sucks when there's tons of people trying to get in and out of it. Parking is expensive of course. Valet only. NEXT.

If you get sick of an area or wanna get away from a sweaty guy, go to the lounge area, the outside, chill by the pool or the fire place, or how about upstairs or downstairs to the bathroom, or chill in a cabana. .. endless. the bar is pretty big so you don't have to wait too long. i always have a great time here, especially if its a glamLA party. yes, i am asian and i enjoy the asian parties, ha ha. thumbs up: huge area thumbs down: dancefloor is elevated on a stage.. which might be scary when it gets way freakin crowded and there are pale thin drunk girls who can't hold their liquor and guys trying to get up all ova them.
