by Kim H. on SO SO GOOD. It's a tiny little place, with hardly any walking room and wobly tables, and you can even see through to the kitchen, but so worth it. It's a nice, calming, almost romantic feel with the candlelight--if it weren't for the background music vibrating through the walls and ceiling from their upstairs club "Fluid", it would be a lot more one-on-one. But the food was out of this world! The salads are phenominal, and I had the best salmon dish I think I've ever had in my entire life. I will definitely be going back to try more food!
by Laverne Heidt on If you're an absolute fanatic for 80's music and sweaty dancing, the Sex Dwarf event at Fluid is THE place to be. My first night involved a river of Jameson flowing through my veins, spending most of the night with no shirt on, dancing to an amazing set including Bowie, The Smiths, Siouxsie & The Banshees and other great New Wave songs. The bartenders are friendly and the service is fairly speedy. The dancefloor is the perfect size and it encourages interaction with multiple people. If you're pee-shy, the downstairs bathroom is not for you. My first night involved me getting goosed by a random female while I did my business. Needless to say, I loved it. I plan on checking out OVUM Last Wednesdays with Josh Wink, as I've heard it is also a great time, but if you want to impress your friends with an absolute blast of a night, make sure to hit up Sex Dwarf each month. You will not regret it.
