Exactly the kind of place that out-of-towners and people who call themselves "New Yorkers" but are really out-of-towners deep down go to try and impress their loser friends. Then there were sleazy Wall Street types trying to impress the female b&t crowd. Sorry people but I've got to be honest. Thats the point of this whole site, correct? Anyway, on top of that, the food sucked. Listen, if it's a good steak that you're looking for then just go to BLT Prime. I know that placed has been talked about to death, but they can cook up a mean piece of cow. If you just want to look as though you're "hip to the scene", then by all means, pay a visit to STK. And then go home and think about your life.
by Erifili K. on Very upbeat lounge scene. Food was good for restaurant but can get very busy and service is compromised. Live bands on weekends and the mixed crowd gets up and dances to try something new. Fun spot. Like the drinks too.
by lea m. on Welcome to the place where all the white people that live in the Mission come to party. I don't think I was drunk enough to enjoy Bruno's. There were A LOT of single 21-25 year olds grinding each other. We got there toward the end of the night, so to be fair, that's when "the singles" are at their most shit-faced and horny. There was a sea of singles guys desperate to pick off the last of the drunk chicks so that they would have someone to go home with. There I was, forced to see what life was like for me 3-4 years ago. I have to say, I was slightly embarrassed. So, if your a 21-25 single something, and need a place to pick up on white folks passing themselves off as "Marina types" this is the place for you. Men, you will have no problem finding a girl drunk from too many lemon drops to take back to your man cave. Girls, if you care to spare yourselves, stay away from the lemon drops, and don't go to Bruno's.
