Swayed over to this spot sola to find it almost empty (it was a very cold night), but the beats were definitely right on. Whiskey cokes kinda weak at 8 bones but the fun bar conversation and tunes compensated. Got my leg/ab work out to tribe, mos, 2pac, biggie, beenie man, cypress hill and more! Returned on a Fri to a sweaty spa of body bumping and less interesting people and $5 cover, eh... not bad overall. get that tv out of there!
by Jeff H. on I dig this place. Tall beers at reasonable prices, including PBR on tap! Crappy TVs, unhealthy bar food, a 400 lb. bartender guy... what else do you want from a dive bar? Too cool for school? Go hang with the yuppies down the road at Ladder 15. Oscar's ain't fancy, it's the real deal.
by Solange Schwulst on This is my wife and I's favorite Mexican place in Manhattan. We came across it once walking in the area and decided to go in for dinner. The interior immediately jumps out at you with this amazing fully stocked bar that has a nice waterfall by it. When we dine there the waiters have always been great. The food comes in giant portions and the frozen drinks are all amazing. Love this place and whenever we hit up Manhattan together and are in the area its always mentioned as a place to eat at for lunch or dinner.
