All but the last 5 minutes was good about this dining experience. It's an old pub, reminiscent of one you'd find in England or Ireland, and they serve decent food that's reasonably priced. The only gripe I had, was that towards the end of the meal we could smell something really horrible. It made us all feel pretty nauseous, and after a minute or so wondering what it was, we decided it must be a gas leak. I approached the barman and told him. Concerned, he began to investigate, but then stopped after realising what it was: the smell of the dumplings. Apparently the dumplings tend to smell like that - something in the way they're cooked. If you're going to dine in this place, don't eat them! Or sit within 10 yards of someone else who's eating them! If you do order them you'll lose your appetite, and probably the friends you're dining with.

I've never danced at Silk City, do I really can't judge on the awesomess or the lameness of thief music selection. What I can pass judgement on is the delicious French Toast they have for breakfast/brunch. It is really good. Of the two times I have been there, the staff has been friendly and quick. I find the prices to be pretty reasonable. I definitly have marked this place as a place to grab a bite to eat ona Saturday morning.

This place made me feel like I was at Nathan's...Between the lines (which were ridiculous) and the food in general. The menu gets a little confusing for us out-of-towners (red dog...), but the food is good and the prices are okay. Take it to go and eat elsewhere unless you want to struggle for a seat.
