The chicken tortilla soup had no flavor, thought it might be an off day for them, but a friend who was eating with us said that it was bland when he had it. Service was good and attentive which was unexpected due to the amount of business they had. Would go back!
by Adam R. on I am glad Asia is not really like Aja. In Asia I buy food from a street vendor for fifty cents and cab drivers tell me I have beautiful skin. In Aja I buy the same food for $10 and it does not taste nearly as good. I guess we can comfortably call Aja Bizzaro Asia. It makes sense at least, since they have decided to redefine what Chinese characters mean. I guess (ai) (it will not let me type Chinese on rateclubs, the bastards) means food now and (er zi) means hot girl. I am glad I did not learn any Chinese from this place because if I had, I would be telling people I love your son when really I mean I want to eat with a hot girl. They have giant Chinese characters up on the ceiling too. Seems pretty gaudy. I am used to overbearing older women trying to sell me dim sum, not young people pushing General Tso's. They had some good beer, but the whole place is overpriced and presumptuous. Add the mandatory valet and you have a place that I will wave to as I drive down Lenox road and suddenly feel less hungry when doing so.
