Kress was a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I consider myself a pretty patient person when it comes to going to clubs in Hollywood and vegas but this has to be my worst experience. Kress has multiple floors but be warned, it cost 20 for each one. more on that later. They say it is free before 10:30 so we got there at 9:45. It is a trick to get people to wait in line. They don't let ANYONE in before 10:30 so you have to pay 20 to get in the ground floor. We went with 10 people so we decided to get bottle service. Bottle service was 375 a bottle and we got 2. Total for bottle service after tax and gratuity was 1100. They only brought out orange juice and cranberry with a bottle of vodka and tequila. The service was horrendous since they kept forgetting to refill the juices and ice buckets. We were starving and figured they served sushi until midnight according to their website. However, they really stop serving food at 10. We luckily tracked down a waitress that was willing to serve us, even though the bottle service hostess said they close the kitchen at 10. The food was good but not worth the 17 average per roll. We had the rainbow and sexy girl. Like I said they were good but not worth the price. Miso was 4 and that was probably the only thing that was worthwhile. Kress has 4 floors. You are only allowed to the ground floor when you pay for entrance. Every other level is 20 per level. You figured we just spent 1400 on bottle service and sushi that they would at least let us in either floor. NOT SO MUCH. The manager said the best he could do was 20 PER COUPLE. Mind you we have already spent 1400. The floor we were on only played hip-hop. The music selection was just like their service, HORRIBLE. On top of that, there was an annoying DJ screaming "ladies"  all night. The floor was crowded but that is expected at any popular club. The decor was nice and seemed classy. We will never go to that club again. None of our friends will ever go to that club again. We've been to just about every club on the strip and in Hollywood. This was hands down the worst. Notice the only people giving 5 stars are promoters or people who will get you on the guestlist. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED, DO NOT GO HERE.

We went here for a bachelorette party on Saturday and was so disappointed at the level of service we received. We booked a package where we got our own private "booth/room", our own buffet of all you can eat food, 1 shot each, and a private lapdance for the bride. When we got there, we were quickly escorted from the nice upstairs area, to this dark, undecorated basement. Then they showed us our booth and host. We were left to stand around for about 20 minutes, before food was finally brought out. The host said he would bring out a small sample of each item, and we could order more of whatever we liked the most. The food was really subpar at most. It included fried scallops that fell apart because it as mostly breading. Duck quesadillas that had not one taste of meat in it. Chicken satay, which were really dry, and had to be drenched in sauce. And old steamed rice, that tasted as if they scooped out a bunch in the morning, and then just microwaved and served. If that wasn't bad enough, our stripper was short and balding, and kept asking us for more $. I thought the $72 each of us paid already included his fees. But he wouldn't give lapdances unless we paid $5 each for them. WTF? The whole stripper ordeal lasted less than 15 minutes. The reason they lost all of the other stars was right after the stripper was done, they kicked is out of our booth, making room for the next party. WTF? We barely got there, and didn't even get to finish our food yet. Total time in the booth was under an hour.  We even asked our host if we could take a picture with one of the "ladies", since we haven't even gotten a chance to see one while we were there.  He said there were none available for us to take pictures with. Also, there's no show downstairs. There were a few lapdances for bachelorettes on the little stage, but it was hard to see, since it wasn't raised up. The downstairs is ALL chicks, so I would recommend it to any guy that wants to have the odds in his favor. Overall, I would NOT recommend ASIA SF for a bachelorette party, as they herd you in and out of there faster than cattle. If you DO go, I highly recommend asking to be seated upstairs, because that's where the real show was. I feel so disappointed in my experience, as I have been looking forward to going there for years. :(

While I've been a bad girlfriend lately, Bootie and I have been going steady for a good three years now (possibly more).  This is the most fun dance party in San Francisco hands down. I always meet tons of super nice people.  I always end up a sweaty mess at the end of the night.  And I always end up making a drunken ass out of myself at some point. And yet, Bootie doesn't leave me.  Like a good boyfriend it buys me a crepe at 3am and makes sure I get into a cab and home safely.  That's why I'll always love Bootie.
