Went here this pass weekend for a friends birthday get together thingy.  Nice venue ...super crowded.  Seems like the people who go here are mostly from or have went to USC UCLA UCirvine. Entrance is 10 bucks a person CASH ONLY which is cheap as hell in the LA area so anyone who complains about a 10 dollar cover....get a better job lol. The venue itself is ok, had two bars, one I guess in a hangout area and the other on the dance floor.  Bartenders are pretty good about the service, they get to you pretty fast.  No real complaints about getting alcohol, I had about 2 hennessy and cokes and a beer and the henny was pretty diesel.  By the end of the night I could say I was on a minor level of drunkeness, but not too bad. They had a smoking patio for the cig smokers, but it was extremely small and crowded, ive def been burned by someone.  Brushing shoulders with other people is a common thing in the patio while you smoke.  Not really a fan of it, but hey gotta poison my lungs somewhere.  O yeah they have a bar outside, but it isnt a full one I think. Dance floor is pretty fun.  My advice is to get a little tipsy before you head out there.  The DJ played top 40 some trance and house, then out of nowhere hell bust out a top 40 song from 2004 or something or some old school rock that I havnt heard since highschool.  Its funny because immediately all the near sober people stop dancing during that time and get more to drink lol.  Must be a busbys tactic.  Tricky people.  Which is why I say go get drunk then dance : ) good times. All in all good venue, ok music, great bartender service, small smoking area, non creepy security, and good times for a measly 10 dollar entrance fee. Go dance! Jordan

Lucky Strike has finally come to New York City! It's about time. Though the far West Side location is not as convenient as Bowlmor or even the lanes in the Port Authority (I hear they do still exist), Lucky Strike is worth the trip. Not only is the bowling alley and attached bar sexy, trendy, and oh-so-clean, Lucky Strike has incredible service and yummy food! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly attractive hostess who led me over to meet my party and then took us all over to the shoe booth. You don't have to give your shoes over as some sort of collateral here. Once everyone has shoes, the shoe booth attendant (also friendly and attractive, though male), leads you right to your lane, as if you were at a restaurant. The attendants also program the machines for you, so you don't have to do any computer work at your lane. Each double-lane area has three comfy couches, making it a very lounge-like atmosphere, with plenty of room for drinks and food. Definitely try the Skewered Chicken with Lime and the Mac & Cheese Bites...both are to die for! Behind each double-lane are a number of billiards tables that can be rented per game. The bowling almost seems secondary at Lucky Strike. I had so much fun and can't wait to go back! I really do need to improve my game though...one strike a night mixed with a lot of gutter-balls doesn't seem very consistent. Be aware Lucky Strike has a dress code!

Sat night was crazy packed during peak... I'm not a big fan of having my drink spilled and bumped into every couple of seconds but I still had a good time. Bathroom lines were not long to my surprise, but then again, it's not a huge place. Inside decor is pretty unique and fun. Especially like the gold motiff and gilded skulls all along the walls. Music was standard nyc club hip hop, etc... Barely any room to dance... And too loud to hear anything. Was a fun experience though. Always nice to get into exclusive/ "velvet roped" places but you'll never see me waiting in line... It's cool to go once or twice but I prefer some personal space and maybe rooftops in the summer.... :-)
