by Kate M. on Manfriend liked the food but I was not into it. Seemed like they were trying to add a twist to everything but it always fell short... Classic Ceaser - tasted too fishy, like bad fishy (even without adding anchovies, and who ever heard of a charge for that?!) Fries (called something special, alleged truffle oil) - were fries. Whatev. Mushrooms - had some strange flavor that didn't sit with me. Hen liked them tho. Fried Miso Game Hen - Pretty good, but really salty (maybe that is the miso?) Coffee crusted pork - Hen loved it, I thought it was just ok, but def the best thing we ordered. Good service, except the "are you staying for music, there is a charge" thing was kind of strange, you should get music with a $95 dinner. Speaking of which, was way too expensive for what it is, would rather they simply the menu to something they can execute well and change $20 less. Oh and the music was cool. Will head back for that and drinks sometime soon.
by Rachel A. on Kat's Cafe is relatively small, but it is a really nice hidden spot. There was no cover There wasnt really parking but you can find parking somewhere close by or valet at zocalos. The martinis were wonderful and inexpensive. The owner was soo nice and came to talk to us. She wanted to make sure that we were satisfied with our drinks.They also sell food.
by Hollie Firmin on I give this place three stars because if it weren't for the GM, 1 or 2 cool bouncers and like two bartenders who are all cool people then it'd be one star....I've DJ'ed here, and have seen alot of parties come and go. I miss when REMEDY was hosted here cuz it was one large crowd of house heads having a fun positive time. Drinks are decent, but better if u know the bartenders, the parties are hit or miss now depending on who's throwing them!
