by Chauncey Buerger on Been to dozens of shows at Mezzanine, always have a great time. Wu Tang was an outstanding show and it was phenomenal to be there last night for their return. In response to J.D. -- I was standing in line about 5 or 6 people behind you when your man was pulled aside by security. I watched the whole thing from start to finish and your facts are a little messed up. I saw the lady coming down Jessie and your mom (b/c that's who you said it was) was walking down the middle of the street and never moved once despite others around her heading for the curb. Your man did finally pull her aside and gave the finger to the lady. But you fail to mention that your man, feeling like a tough guy apparently and likes to try and intimidate women, walked passed the lady's car while she was parking and punched,smacked/backhanded the driver's side window. I'm sure if he just flipped her off, all would have been forgotten, but he had no reason to follow up with a smack to her car. He took it just a step too far, Maybe next time he should think about behaving like an adult rather than some street thug, the type who ALWAYS ruin a good time for others.
by Gustavo Viers on i LOVE this club. i have very fond memories here. many nights of partying. i love the decor and layout of the space. this is where i discovered my favorite drink, pear vodka and tonic. fyi...thursday night is asian night.
by Preeya J. on This place is soo crowded. I think it took us 20 minutes to make our way to the front of the tiny room. It also took us 40 minutes to get a drink. But awesome music...so if you want to get your dance on, this is the place to be.
