We got there early so we had a drink at the bar. when it was time for our reservation, the table wasnt ready. whatever, i'll have another drink- but then it was 30 min later (this now being 10 pm) until we got seated. The food was good. NOT amazing, but solid. The waiter gave us free gourment chicken nuggets cus of our wait, which was nice. the food came REALLY fast. i like to eat slowly and enjoy my food, and have a little anticipation for the next course. this didnt happen. we had barley 2 bites of our food then the next course arrived. i dont like that. maybe they were rushing cus it was late? All i know is, took us over 40 min to get seated and under 30 to eat our meal. After the meal, it took the waiter a painfully long time to pay attention to us to order desert. meh. however, we had the doughnuts wtih bananna ice cream, which was DELICIOUS. 3 stars. Great atmosphere, amazing cocktails, Good food... but i've definately had better at say AOC or Church and State.
by ashley m. on I haven't been to this place in a couple of months & decided to last Friday while I was out. Looks like they changed the whole aspect of the place. Apparently the place is 18+ up now & they charge a cover if you are under 21. It isn't like the typical 18+ bars here in Austin. 101x Hypersonic Radio was there doing an electronic music night. The crowd looked like a normal crowd and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. At one point the bar got really busy & it took me a sec to get my drink, but other than that it was a good time. We stayed for about an hour & then left to hop around! One of the bartenders also let me know that they are open till 4a on the weekends now-which I will definitely be checking out in the near future!
by Wendell Rerucha on I went here for an Obama event last week. The place is cool, especially the white room with the beds on all the walls. But be warned - don't stand next to the beds as spilled drinks from above land on you (the second story floor is like an open deck). People were getting spilled on quite a bit actually. The service was prolly about a 2 star - slow moving and the crowd for drinks built up quickly. Also, I gotta mention that the mens room has a single toilet and 2 leather chairs inside. WTF is that? We were all scratching our heads and laughing about that. I could see that in a girls bathroom maybe since they like to go in pairs, but in a guys bathroom? Maybe its just a subtle way for the supperclub to show their support for blow.
