definitely for the open minded. i met a good friend of mine there, which is something i never thought i would say. Late night San Francisco wild and crazy style. Good house DJ's, but do not enter if you shock easy..or do, maybe it'll do you some good. Definitely a different slice. Most fun when you're already feeling ecstatic about life. I enjoy that you never know what you're going to see there. I don't enjoy the line..that's why I try not to wait in it, as well as the cover, so I try not to pay that either. ;) Cheers. open til' 6 in SF--never a bad thing. Also friendly bartenders.

Horrible club. INSANELY RUDE Bouncers, BARSTAFF, and Management. Management even told me FUCK YOU straight up in my face. Why would someone come here? To see B celebs is about it! You have better things to do than waste your money in the hole. Enough said, will never come back to place ever. If you are thinking of a better club to go to... go to Cinespace, Avalon, Vanguard, Circus... ANYTHING BUT THIS PLACE!... This has to be on the bottom of the Hollywood Clubs... I'd EVEN RATHER GO TO LEVEL 3 and party with 18 year olds... barf... Forget WONDERLAND!

I went to Yoshi's with my girlfriend and 3 friends for Dine About Town. Being a big jazz fan I had been wanting to try it out since it opened in SF but alas I was bound for disappointment. We arrived for out 6:45 Tuesday night dinner reservation letting the waitress know we had an 8:00 jazz show to make which had absolutely no impact on the lethargic, inattentive, and uninterested service throughout the evening. We felt like we were constantly trying to make eye contact with the staff to get a second drink or to remind them they had brought out the wrong dish. There were three course, every course at least one of us was not served - you may think "hey, that's 80% - why not give them 4 stars?!" but as is proper etiquette we waited while the food got cold until we were all served which was 5-10 minutes later. This is acceptable at TGI Fridays or Chili's but a fine dining restaurant?! We ended up missing 30 minutes of the hour and fifteen minute show due to the slow service. The food was far from "good" but sub-Chili's, hell sub-McDonald's! The sashimi appetizer was decent, that alone I would give 4 stars. Next the entree pork tenderloin was tough, had no flavor and was served on top of 3 pea pods (not exactly a side). Finally, we hoped at least dessert would redeem all but yet again disappointment. The Okinawan donuts with whiskey slurry (?) tasted like those pre-packaged grocery store donuts on sale for $2.99/dozen so they can get them off the shelf before they expire the next day. The slurry tasted like someone has mixed a shot of cheap whiskey into Duncan-Hines frosting. The show was a little pricey at $14 for only an hour and 15 minutes of entertainment (30 minutes of which we missed due to slow service). The band was good though but drink service again was slow and could not make change for a $10 without returning to the bar for 20 minutes. Avoid this over-priced Waffle House of jazz clubs.
