by Owen R. on Whatever you do, don't get the carnitas here. All the taste, texture and consistency of week-old cat food. The meats that go into the tacos/burritos here are bland and nothing is really that tasty. Yes, there are cheap margaritas, which I'm sure dulls the senses somewhat, but for the most part the offerings here are just ok.

After 4 hours on the Forbes Yacht (yeah, I roll like that) where I took it upon myself to sample every top shelf bottle of liquor they had, I stumbled down the dock and into The Park for some more drinking. Like I really needed that. The outside bit was hoppin with just about every table filled up so us rag tag lot grabbed the weird tree stump/loveseat, cowhide stool and leather benches surrounded by National Geographics that are in front of the bar. Seeing as I had already been drinking like a sailor (hehehe), I was transfixed by this odd decor. Particularly the tree stump love seat that I swear, kept changing shape. And as one of my buds pointed out, rather perceptively might I add, The Park reminded him somewhat of B Bar, but with a more woodsy vibe. I'd have to concur. Though I wasn't the one buying the drinks, from my cowhide perch surveying the land, I'd have to say the service was a bit slow as the front bar only had 2 bartenders serving a mass of thirsty patrons. We opted to get some bottles to share at our table so we wouldn't have to deal with the wait (which I bet was The Park's plan along. Sly devils) and as the night increasingly wore on, so did the amount of folks who rocked in - an eclectic mix I might add. I would have to say I'd probably enjoy it more during the day for lunch and sitting at one of the tables outside, or if I'm ever again conveniently stepping off of a yacht, but given it's so far West and away from most of the nightlife, I probably wouldn't go out of my way to hit this place up. It was tough getting a cab at the end of the night, too (just throwing that out there)
by k s. on FUCK YOU STRATA!!! bastards.. I was told, women were free before 12 and men were 10 bucks cause we were on the guest list.. FUCK THAT... we got in the line 11pm.. got to the door 11.45 ... 2 fucking KUTTIS asked us if we were on the list we said yes, took the promoters name , they gave us 2 stubs which meant GOOD LUCK GETTING UR ASS FUCKED at the next step where I was told to fork up 45 bucks, 25 for me and 20 for pam... I politely told em of the ladies being free before 12 and I was reduced.. they were like no way... anyways I obliged as I was there for 3 birthdays..... again FUCK YOU STRATA.. Ima fwd this whole link on you guys.... once inside they wanted to charge me $15 for jack n coke CHUTIAS!!!! a whole bottle of Jack cost me $9.... FUCK OFF STRATA hope you shut down.... and all your bouncers are rude usless A$$HOLES
