The frying pan has a great atmosphere, but for ourdoor summer drinking I'd rather go somewhere else. The boat gets busy really fast, and I was so busy being eaten by mosquitoes the whole evening that I just wished I was somewhere else. I think I would have had a different experience had I been there earlier in the day.

Heard it was the old promoters who did Msociety and those parties were awesome and the crowd was never disappointing so I started going to Circle. It was better in the beginning so with hope, I continued going. It gets worse and worse. One of two hot girls with no men, not to say this is a meat market. They do degrading bookings and have drunk shady guys try to grab you or sneak a feel behind you or when you pass them by so be careful. The drinks are ridiculous. The djs spin the same crap, with as everyone else mentioned, weird breaks in between songs just when you're feeling the music and getting down. Maybe the djs never want the people to enjoy the music. No clue. The owners and the people there will rip you off any chance they get. This is the worst part of it all. First off, door or no door fee. Then MANDATORY coat check- WAT?! If not, the bouncers will yell at you and if you don't comply, they WILL chock you out the door. Isn't there a law to them treating people like that? And even if the owners or whoever works there sees them doing that, its overlooked. Maybe encouraged? I've had so many friends who frequent this club enough for them NOT to be treated this way and every single time, someone I know has every weekend. It doesnt stop from the bouncers who think they're gain power by pushing people here and there- IT'S ALL IN THE DELIVER MAN! (Esp. the ones outside, think he's the 'main' bouncer- big time ahole). But then again, if the owners are all shady, racists, have no loyalty to their friends and frequent visitors who support them, I guess you can't say much for those who work for them either. Their waiters do work hard tho. Im sure the house is slaving them. I even had a few of my friends who were overcharged for bottles they never ordered! Not just one time, not just one friend but many! So beware, even when you're in your drunk state. They WILL deny and you'll be literally rapped and nothing more to do cept not go there anymore. There's a guy at the front with long hair wearing a grey suit or something (Joon or Joo or something like that) who took my friend's reservation on Halloween and ended up giving that table away! This guy does this allll the time I heard. Not only that, he's an ahole, needs to get whooped but seems to keep quiet to avoid being so. He is NOT liked by many in the Korean community and better not be seen outside of Circle. Bottomline is, Circle sucks. Doesn't get any better. Summertime rolls around, they're going to put away the AC saying its broken or its due to the club being packed, or whatever other excuses. AND people who own, work there need to smile more! This isn't the mafia! Be real and treat people how you want to be treated- especially YOUR friends and people who support you!

Good cheesy fun. Swanky interior, waitresses in black evening wear, and a DJ playing an odd mix of music that might feel like you're at a wedding reception. I've always hit this place late in the evening, near closing, after a good number of drinks. The view is gorgeous. It's a fun place to let loose and act the tourist (which I am). I don't think locals go here unless dragged by out-of-town friends like me. But once there, even they can't help but enjoy the silliness of it all.
