by Jewel Centore on Ohh....this used to be such a great spot. But now, I'm completely disappointed. It has, unfortunately, become a hoochie scene on weekends so I have to retire this place and give it a low rating. Plus - $20 cover. Are you kidding me? I wish it could go back to the scene several years ago. Soo sad to see a classic SF spot succumb to this. Haven't eaten the food in years so I cannot comment on that.
by Sophia Ashbach on Don't go. Deceiving staff willingly rip you off. I went for happy-hour before a Sounders game. They had ONE staff member and most of their beers were out of stock. I asked for one after seeing the happy hour price was $3.50. He then charges me $4 and when I told him the menu said $3.50 he told me that was before tax! Since when do they add tax on top of the advertised price. I thought this was a bar, not a parking lot. Honestly I think he just lied to my face so he could make an extra 50 cents (which doesn't really seem worth it). I won't be returning again.
by Jen S. on This is a young, hip club to try out in Hollywood. I ended up there with the owner for one of my girlfriend's birthdays. He hooked us up with a great booth/table and however much Grey Goose, Patron, and Champagne we wanted...I was there with 10 fabulous females though! I really liked.... 1. The DJ-The music was a mix of hip hop, classic rock, techno, and pop- current hits and old faves. 2. The Booth- Really big booth with room to get up and dance on the back of it. It faced the DJ and the dance floor which was perfect. 3. The Birthday Fire- During the evening, 3 cocktail waitress had sparkler flares in each hand and came and danced around our table. It was a cool gesture for a birthday. 4. The Owner- Really nice guy who stayed with us the whole night to make sure we had a good time. 5. The Attractive People- Hot guys and girls we everywhere. There was an eclectic group- something for everyone. 6. No Line for the Bathroom the whole night- Wow! 7. Cool Air- Most clubs can get pretty humid during the night, but I danced almost the entire time and notice how cool it stayed. Half of this club seems to be open to the night's air. Improvements... 1. The decor was cool, but it could be better. Highlight of the night- One of my girlfriends went missing and we found her about to sing on stage, microphone in hand. The owner, apparently, gave her the microphone because she said she wanted to sing. There was no live singing in this club the whole night. She thanked me for pulling her off stage the next day. HA!
