Ah yes.... Gold Room All in all I have never really had a bad time here truthfully but, this is a place where it truly costs to play... Because I highly recommend you buy bottle service here because of the lounge layout. The inside decor is pretty cool - all gold - though in some aspects slightly tacky but, it still seems to pull it off. The funniest thing about this club is that you run into the ol'Buckhead clubber groupies that you always see out. Just look for the guys with spiked hair, maybe like a highlight or two... and some really bad attempt to look snazy in a Euro inspired outfit. The female versions? Well just watch out because they prob have on a pretty hot little dress and look, well, hot. Just dont be fooled though - all they want is a free drink or to sit at your table and look cool. I prefer to only wave goodbye as they are pulling out in their Kia Sofia coupe (true story). Service here is pretty good and they have always been pretty cool about hooking up some free champaign or something like that - by no means is this place anywhere near as horrible as Opera. So, come with a group of friends, get the bottle service, dont give free drinks away to the hot girls and finally be prepared cash wise as this is not a location for a cheap night out. Look nice and enjoy... Ill be back one day.

The only thing I've ever eaten here are the shoestring fries- which are delicious.  I like the rooftop lounge- it's literally the only thing that makes me want to go back.  It's nice in the winter with the fireplace.  The drinks are decent but wayyyyyy overpriced.  I'm not a big Starr fan in general so I don't frequent The Continental Midtown often.  But if you're looking for a lounge-y/pricey place, it doesn't hurt to check it out.

Interesting place!!! Let me start off by saying my friends for the first time in my life took me bar/club hopping.  Never have I done it before and only heard about it and saw it on tv. Right before going to Harlot we were at John Colins (loved it, check out my review) The was the complete opposite of John Colins. Huge ass line out the door with folks waiting to get it.  Luckily my friends had the hook up and we slide right on in :) When I got inside boy...it was a full on club.  I haven't been in a full on club in YEARS. The music was playing so damn loud that I could hardly hear anything when I walked out the place. The bar was soooo damn packed.  It was jammed packed with people.  I can't even count how many times my toes got trampled.  In fact, by the time I got home, I had no polish on my big toe.  LMAO.  That could be a bad thing or a good thing depending on what you're into and what you were trying to accomplish that night. Totally not my type of setting but I must say it was fun.  The music was surely not my kinda music but I had a great time watching my friends have a great time and watching the other folks jamming to what appeared what their song.  lol Also, it wasn't quite diverse.  I was surely the only black girl in the place. The best thing of the night in that place...OMG...Was this totally HOT guy with an accent was jocking me.  Thank GOD by the time he was shouting his conversation in my ear I hadn't gone deaf yet.  I found out he was from Scotland.  I made a mental note of me having to get to Scotland one day before I die :)  As we were leaving to continue our bar hope I said my goodbye to the Scottish guy.  Unfortunately I didn't get his name cuz I was loosing my hearing by then.  Right as I was going to shake his hand saying nice meeting him, he reached as though he wanted to hug me, no harm done right, so I hugged him, and then...HE KISSED ME.  Dead smack on the lips and seconds later I found myself tongue kissing a stranger!!!! OMG...not only has that never happened to me EVER before but that is the first time I've come remotely that close to even being near a white guy or his lips.  LMAO!!!! Like I said...Interesting place :)

Tt is way too over priced, Way to much security other wise the atmosphere is good. not many patrons either...Probably due to the cover $15 just a little much. especially since summers over.
