by Michael Means on Went there last night with a friend from out of town upon his recommendation. Would have to say its a bit of a tourist trap. The jazz was good but nothing you wouldn't find for much cheaper in the village. We got there late enough that we didn't have to get the price fixe but I ordered some food anyway and they managed to burn the bread on a blt. The drinks were standard price. Overall I would say not bad but not great. It wasn't worth the trip for me.
by Jill C. on Easy reservations, affordable and crazy-delicious small plates, and a great location make Lime perfect for a last-minute girls' night out, hot first date, or casual dinner with a companion. Most impressive to me as of late - the service is incredible. Lime apparently only hires super-fun people, who in turn take great care of their guests. We've tried the Buddha's cups, chicken satay, filet mignon, fish tacos, sliders, deviled eggs, grilled cheese (cheese!) - and all were awesome. Did I mention cheap? House drinks are strong and inventive, but are of the sweet and tart variety. If you're not into that, there is a limited wine selection and other booze-y options to get you through the night. The one downside is the bathroom situation - a sharp contrast to the rest of the place. The long line leads you to a restroom that is not so spectacularly well-kept. In addition, I can never find anywhere to lay my purse, which is troublesome for a sober woman and just plain befuddling for a non-sober woman. You'd think an establishment so concerned with its image would be mindful of restrooms as well. But no matter - holding on to my Hobo clutch is a small price to pay for a fun night out at Lime.
