by Son Haldane on I am neutral about this place. I wasnt able to check out the upper level which apparantely is amazing beautiful but its okay I saved myself some mad cash. I would just say come here prepared to splurge, (and not in a good way.) I was kinda disappointed with the sheer lackluster service and promises made by the staff here. But you shouldnt believe my review you have to experience it for yourself. :)
by Cheryl T. on Walking in to the Edison is like being transported back to the 1920's. Pretty sick! I came here for a friend's birthday, but it was tough to really hang out without a table reserved. I got one of the specialty drinks, the Mai Tai. Though expensive, $13, it was strong! It left me buzzed most the night. They have this cool old player piano, where you have to pump the foot pumps, and half of it actually works! The brulesque dancer actually had curves and was very in character, which made the whole ambiance that much more believable. The bartenders were hard to get a hold of when it got crowded, but what do u expect on a busy friday night. There was no line when my friend and I got there at 9 something, so it was no problem getting in. The surrounding area was a little sketch and I would have never known the place was down an alley if my friend hadn't known. Overall a sweet place to lounge and hang with friends. The old machinery and decor was the best part of the place.
