As a matter of fact I came here with Asians. It's like a code of conduct to fuse in. disguise amongst slanted eyes. Being Asian-looking myself, it was no problemo too much. Anyway, we were celebrating a friend's birthday. Such grand excuse to get drunk and touchy-feely. The decor in this place is pretty cool, wooden contexts with amusing hentai anime playing in the projector while the dj spins. Later on in the night, nude-like dancers swing on these fabric curtains above your heads. Once you arrive it might seem a little cold because of strong air-conditioning, but once the booze hits and people start groping against one another, you will be fine. Will you catch cold? I don't know. But you will feel fine at the moment. Crowd is about 98% Asian, with a few curious Caucasian and darker skin-toned faces mixed in. If you have the adequate fetish, this place is your best hunting spot. Young professionals in their 20s-30s to say the least. Will I come back? Maybe not. Drinks are expensive for the overall experience in my opinion.

I really enjoyed this place.  Came for dinner one night, must go back sometime for the bar.  The food was very good, the rice very much impressed me. It was not your average "spanish rice" that you get in every other mexican restaurant, it was red to be sure but what really separated it from the rest was the addition of capers(!) i know, right? the chips come with a candlelabra-like thing holding 3 different types of dips. There was a bean dip, a salsa-roja, and a guacamole inspired one. ok, so the decor: think Lucha Libre/Disney's haunted mansion meets hollywood blvd. I will def. go back but won't rush.

I sauntered into Golden Temple this past Monday for a "business ladies night". We stopped in about 6:30 and the atmosphere was just right for some girly gossip and life stories without fearing the table next to us what listening in. The wait staff was very accomodating and attentive. We originally sat in a booth for 4, but when someone showed up last minute our waiter was super friendly and helped us pick a new table and move everything including the various purses bags etc. we had. There were 5 ladies and we all decided to share some appetizers and dinner. There is a huge selection of items on the menu, not too many vegetarian options, but enough that I was happy. I got the Pad Thai with Tofu - pretty average but tasty. There is a pretty large drink list and our waiter was all to keen to get us a new glass of wine before the first was finished. But hey, it was a ladies night right? So he was just helping to keep things going :) After appetizers and drinks it came to about $40 each, not bad considering we each probably had two drinks. Overall good expereince and a good place to go with groups, but I don't think I would schlep out to Brookline just for Golden Temple.
