by Carl Picasso on this place is awesome!! if you love meeting folks when you go out, this is one of the easiest places to make new friends - especially in the patio. i love the entire staff. from the bouncers to that hot bartender, david. ever since i first started going here earlier this year, he'd always hook me up by saying "and yours is on me" while pointing at me. so until the point where i asked if he was with anyone, i thought this gorgeous bartender was trying to get me to talk to him.... NOPE! i dont know yet whether i like hotty straight bartenders in weho. it makes me sad. but if you go to 11, find him! he's such a sweet guy! ..my first post. and it ended up being about a guy!
by lauren j. on I've been to Harlot two times. On my first visit, we had no trouble getting since a friend knew the bouncer. I had a good time, they have good and reasonably priced drinks (although for every round we bought, they were different prices...), music was not bad either. Downside- the people there were mostly horribly dressed older women (cougars if you will)...think high waisted white jeans and a tacky sequinced animal print top... and slimey men. Had a good time, but only because I went with some fun friends. Second visit. Went with a much larger group, split pretty evenly with guys and girls. When our complete party arrived, we went up to the front to be told by the scrubby bouncer dressed in faded black jeans and a sweatshirt that they were at capacity. While we stood around pondering our next location, we watched as the same bouncer let a large group of cougars wearing hideous outfits in. As a spoiled partied that doesnt pay for cover or wait in line. This place is ridiculous. One star because they have Pear Grey Goose at the bar and another star because the venue itself is nice. Other than that, its just an overrated bar full of ugly people. Save yourself and go across the street to John Collins.
