by Jestine Mcgrue on We went to the greatest bar NU gathering before the beanpot finals game on Monday. It was crowded and NU put on a good time as expected. However the bar food was really overpriced and not very good. The staff was slow and inattentive. My fiancee got a steak and cheese wrap which was mostly cheese and very little steak and soggy. It was also twelve dollars! My friend and I shared some boneless tenders and fries which where sixteen dollars. They also do not give free refills on soda which was flat. Overall we had fun at the NU event but the greatest bar i far from great.
by Suzanne V. on This place is wild. We're from Orange County so we really had no idea where to go for a nice nightclub. We wanted to listen to house/electro music and someone suggested this place. All I have to say is, if you are sober/not on drugs, you will be entertained! Everyone was "rollin". It was wild to watch these people dance. I had so much fun just watching people make a fool of themselves and not even care. Someone told me that they can feel the music go through their body and that's why they act/dance weird. Other than that, the drink prices weren't bad (we're use to LA prices), the staff was friendly and nice, there were places to sit, and we got in for free. The bouncer at the front even let us skip the long guest list line when I mentioned we were from out of town (when does that ever happen in LA?). The only reason I'm taking off two stars is because the rooms downstairs sucked. The music was bad and it reeked to high heaven of weed (drug use is not my scene). Also, the location is pretty ghetto. There were crackheads walking and sleeping on the sidewalks, along with some bums. A little nerve-wracking when walking to your car at 1:00 am. Deff. bring some cash with you so you can valet. All in all, I don't regret going here, I had some fun, but I think it was more of a one time thing for me.
