by gEe C. on From what I can remember. . . Because trust me, it really wasn't a lot, since I was drunker than drunk, it was pretty cool. I came here for a private event and it was a sizable place. I can't really review much on the downstairs, but the upstairs was pretty tight. I think they got two stages, no? Or maybe, just one. And it was really dark. But then again, that was probably me on the verge of passing out. Hmmmmm. . . Gotta give props to those bartenders if your dranks got me to that level. HEEY!!
by Jacob B. on Off the Hook!!! Not the cheesy play-list music they play at the other clubs. Be nice to the employees they deal with "Hollywood" all the time. Flashing will not get you in, just be real SBE got a lil too greedy and their "free agent" employees that helped launch them are now here. Get there early the Fire Marshall shuts it down at capacity 15 mins after opening. Not really the clubs fault. Don't listen to the 1 stars they're just p'ed that they couldn't get in. Welcome to the gold standard of LA nightlife VERDICT: Highly Recommended, FUN
by Rene Garraghty on bobalooo'ssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i cannot even explain how much i LOVEEEE this place. it's always a guaranteed good time. forewarning, it gets PACKED to the gills. but that's b/c the music is almost always good and the crowd is just there to have a good time. so if you're claustrophobic, this is not your cup of tea. be prepared to sweat to the bone like you've run a marathon. might not hurt to bring a change of clothes ;) paying a cover is against my religion, but i'll gladly pay up the $5 fee for this place any day. i love bob's dearly and to date i still have not found a place in LA that can come remotely close to it. it's my tried and true down and dirty place that i always make a stop at whenever i'm in town.
