Came here one night when it was gay night. they didn't card that night either. the decor is really nice. i also like that you can smoke upstairs where the bar is when it turns into a lounge because it looks like an actual park. Also if you come early you can stay when it becomes a club. this place is really chill & i really like it however if you come late and your underage the bouncers there are pretty strict so be prepared to be denied if you don't have proper i.d.

i dont know. tell me why i thought vertigo was a total club club. i was wrong. HELLA wrong. i love vertigo. i fucking love vertigo. its my kind of place. i think it suits all kinds. there was a large variety of people... theres a dance floor and they play the hits. for gods sake they played montell jordan. uh yea, any place that plays that montell jam is good in my books. theres a sitting area if you just wanna chill...both inside and "outside". theres a separate smoking section for all the smokers but you dont have to leave the bar. the bathroom is your typical bar bathroom. dont be alarmed. but its not as bad as bar none so dont be scared. i love the ambiance. vertigo is so quaint and cute. for some reason i felt welcomed when i entered. bring cash cause they sure as hell dont take cards. the bartender was quick. they have like 6 beers on tap, although i had asked what beers they had on tap she said there were so many it would take her all day then she walked away. umm lady all you had to do was point. thanks. but i can over look the rudeness because like i stated before, i fucking love vertigo. so in conclusion. vertigo is awesome.

Fantastic music venue.  This place reminds me of the Phantom of the Opera, which is obviously a good thing.  I saw the Dresden Dolls at the Orpheum and it was only fitting that it be an old-timey place.  As if this place wasn't cool enough on its own, there was also a girl dressed up like Alice in Wonderland who walked around and asked people if they wanted to color with her. I though it was cute.  But I didn't color. I can't stay in the lines...*tear*
