I've been here 2x. The staff is pretty friendly and they have happy hour deals during the week (rooms at 50%) and the rooms have interesting themes. Well, some of the rooms have interesting themes, except the Living Room and Outdoor Room (astro turf and benches). Seriously, where is the creativity? I RSVP'd a room via e-mail for my birthday and when I made my first visit, I checked to make sure it was still intact. They had the date right but the room and # of people in my party was wrong. On the night of my party, they bumped me to a bigger room but agreed to keep the rate of the room I RSVP'd (a definite plus). My party of 25ish ended up in the Hennessy room, which is listed as being for 30-40 people. I guess 40 people can fit but it's a pretty tight fit for 30. I was okay with the music controls. I was a little bugged that staff kept coming into the room to see if we needed anything. We can call the staff through the control screen but they would come in randomly anyway. It's like having friends over to play video games while mom keeps barging in. Food is mediocre to poor but drinks were acceptable. I'll probably go back again but hope that they improve how they manage the place. I'll give them some slack for now since they're pretty new.

Let's first start with me staying at the W Hotel which is where Drai's is situated.. They share the pool area and call it Drai's once 7pm rolls around (found that out the rude way). Although they claim to be totally seperate entities.  This past weekend was my Birthday weekend which is why I choose this venue in the first place.  I being from SD wanted to do it up in LA for the Special occassion. I did make dinner reservations for Friday since Saturday was already booked, and this is calling weeks in advance;-(   so they said?! So here is where it all goes bad!!   Friday nights dinner was eatable, I have had alot better for far less commotion! The ambience of the place is magnificent, along with the decor and views, the service mediocre and the people manning the door at Drai's RUDE!!!  After spending nearly $500 for a party of 4, we decided to go downstairs to the lobby area of The W hotel.. remember I'm staying here for the weekend. To my great dismay and those of my friends, I come to find out that #1 my attractive friends and I all which are appropriately dressed cannot have access to the outside bar area at the W hotel! Not only are we denied entry to the hotels outside bar area but NOW can't even get back upstairs to Drai's!!  We showed the IDIOT at the door our reciept and told them that we did not know we weren't suppose to leave or not be allowed back in.  Again, I am staying at The W hotel!! Room key and reciept and 5 of us being treated like nobodies.  As if we just didn't spend our hard earn monies in their Restaurant/ Club!! I was pissed!!  I have stayed at many establishments especially of the W hotel and I have a good mind to write the W hotel and telll them how these  IDIOTS at Drai's are treating their patrons!!  BUT wait............it gets better!! Next Day Saturday,  we all are lounging poolside of the W hotel and come 6:30pm all the Hotel guest are asked to leave the pool area!!  to get ready for the dinner crowd getting into the nightlife.  (????) But here is the clincher... NO one wishes to drink and drive when Saturday night rolls around and everyone is hyped to go up to Drai's again, it being the BEST night of all... so here it goes and this is vital information to know k... If you are an out of towner and have NO hook ups for guest list, then give them $100 and your in!!! slip it into the hands of anyone working for the W Hotel at the door of Drai's or even the someone working for Drai's and your in!!!  I can't believe a fine Hotel Establishment like The W hotel is allowing this sort of degration!!  I didn't pay, but went along with everyone's choice and ultimately forgot about it all with all the FREE drinks coming my way from everyone since it was again.. MY BIRTHDAY;-)

This is the worst place I've ever eaten at in SF.  It took me over 30 mins to find parking around the area.  When I got to the place, I was greeted by a old redhead woman who seemed to hate the world.  She seated us outside and as I was sitting down, I asked for a glass of water due to the heat of the day.  She quickly cut me off and told me a waitress will be over to take my order.  A waitress did not come over till 20 mins later and only took our drinks order when we told her we were ready to order or meal as well.  Our drinks game out 30 mins later and we've decided to not eat here anymore.  We left sufficient money to cover our drinks and started to walk out.  The redhead manager woman asked us if we paid for the bill and we nodded and told her its on the table.  As we walked out, we found a ticket on our car, we were barely there for an hour.  We found the DPT lady who gave us the ticket and she told us that the manager of Kelly's call DPT every single day to ticket cars.  The manager is crazy if she thinks giving me a $40 parking ticket and bad service will have me come back a second time.  BEWARE AND DO NOT PARK AROUND THERE.  DPT WILL GET YOU!
