It's one of my top picks in Philly for sure. Killer food, good beer selection and absolutely beautiful women working behind the bar. Crowds always seem genuine and out for a good time. The new outdoor tiki bar is perfection on a chill summer night. Keep it up Silk.

Went here with Deandre L. for my birthday. We purchased the tickets offline and he upgraded to a royalty seat which mean we were right in the front. Don't worry the royalyt seats come at a price of 20 extra bucks so it was 70 per person. Note*: Don't get there late like we did...because you'll miss the beinginning of the storyline...even as I sit here writing this i'm still no sure what happened in the beginning. I don't know what I thought I was going to expect but whatever it was Medieval times was way better. It is truly a one of a kind expereince. The atmospher is just very authentic and since they didn't have utensils back in those days you must use your hands to eat the food. The dinner consists of bread which looked like texas toast, tomato bisque soup, big piece of grilled chicken, a big potato, and a spare rib. For dessert it was some type of apple pic thingy. (pictured) Most of the food was pretty bland but the spare rib was nice and tender. It was by far the best part of the meal. You also got to choose between pepsi, sweet tea, and water.  During your meal the show is going on and its just fun to see all the amazing tricks the horses can do. It's also interesting watching the knights fight one another. Scary at times too. Crowd participation is key also especially during the battles. In the beginning they give you crowns and flags so you can root for your knight. All in all it was a wonderful experience...pricey..but fun.  Just to let you know gratuity, and pictures are not included so bring extra money!!!

OK, the reviews are mixed. I guess it depends what you're into. I probably had a better time that 3 stars would indicate...but there were friends and liquor involved. My friends arranged to meet here after work. Happy Hour alert: 2 for one on all drinks on weekdays until 7. That means my $9 well drink came in a tumbler the size of the Mother Lode's. And it was allegedly Absoslut. One friend got 2 Coronas; not sure how much they cost. The third, Ms. Picky, had a bit of trouble. No Grey Goose Orange or her second choice. So if you order your drinks with great particularity here you may be disapointed. The drink itself was fine. I drank it all and we moved inside for dinner. BTW there are tables set up on SM Blvd for you smoker/eater/boulevard cruisers who won't commit to the interior. There's also an offering of discount nibbles during happy hour. The happy hour bar crowd is older than God, nailed to their stools until bedtime, 7 pm, thank you. So the schizophrenic part. Gay bar, or restaurant? 11 is set in a beautiful old bank building, nicely lofted out as others have pointed out, with a gay or gay friendly staff, in the intestines of Boys Town. So what do we have here? A gay bar with a restaurant, a unisex bathroom--(very big stalls btw ;) and why spend $10,000 on a sink and $1.59/gal. for yellow soap, Eau de Greyhound). I don't see any reviews from straight guys. I didn't stay past 10 so I m not judging the bar scene going into the night. We had dinner upstairs. I had a nice view of the two sided fireplace, obligatory lounge fixture of 2007. Ms Picky noted the A/C draft on her muumuu and had to sit on the other side of the table. The waiter, a large man with a chrome dome started by pushing some questionable wine. I hate it when they pick one bottle to suggest to every table. Who's getting the kickback? I insisted on picking off the list...and you should too. Again questionable when your first two choices are out. Do you have any specials? Well, no, so they brought one of those raw steaks the size of the Empire State out of the kitchen and offered to do it up for $100. Stop. Detour honey, that's not my scene. Just ignore the help (except for that uber cute one they've trained to wink at you) and order. Salmon. Good. Told it was wild. Meatloaf, Ms Picky loses again...She didn't even want to take the second piece home for lunch. The problem was the texture, more like pate than hamburger. This will upset the squeemish. We had no salads except for the Caesar. A gay Caesar? More lemon, less anchovy and garlic. How did you know? Trick-friendly. The bill was $111 for three including a bottle of wine, and not including the cocktails, which actually isn't bad. However if you're up to spending the money on a dining experience you might do better elsewhere. If you're a gay tourist on SM Blvd and want food more sophisticated than Skewers, this is not a bad choice at all. I would say the dinner crowd was all...checking it out. They allegedly have a new menu starting August 1, 2007. I would say they're still trying to hit that stride. Only the uber cute busboy has done that...thanks for the shoulder rub...I may be back, later. Eleven is gay and transparent...bring your own drama to the stage.
