by Kate S. on This place makes me happy. Oh so gloriously happy! So happy in fact that I can apparently sing until closing time (4 am) and be startled that it got so late/early so quick. Different sized, super sleek and comfortable rooms to fit your party needs. It's schmancy in here. Posh. Shiny. Modern. What other adjectives can I use? Squishy seats, large flat screens to show your lyrics, and user friendly ipads to punch your song selections in. And what a selection of songs to pick from! I ended up just punching in numbers for songs I knew because I may have been a bit tipsy and overwhelmed with all the choices. Price isn't that bad at all! Especially when you are in a group -- the price seems hardly a factor once it is split and considering the good time you just had.
by Kristina R. on I've gotta start off by saying the decor is beautiful!! I love all the black and white photos and vintage couches and chairs! Great place to take lots of pix! I've been here plenty of times since it is walking distance from my apt and I've come to the conclusion that it's better on weekdays or for happy hour. On Friday and Saturday nights it becomes a bit snobby and too crowded (not my thing) BUT if you go for happy hour or on a week day not only are the drinks half off but it's a nice older/smaller crowd and they also tend to play some ol'school soul music vs. a DJ spinning beyonce or Lady Gaga. Their signature drink (The Ella) made with freshly squashed watermelon is delicious but be prepared for a major headache the next morning if you have too many!
by Sheena Malicdem on eh...nuthing great here Music, on the Saturdays that I go to at least, is hip-hop/radio hits. The crowd is normally pretty upscale, so upscale that I've seen numerous people (including my friend) get turned away because their attire wasn't up to par... Dance floor size is pretty reasonable... Drinks were pretty typical sized and of usual alcohol level... I think I liked the lighting here the most though...bright enough to see the crowd, dim enough to make it look really cool and sensual... Still though, nuthin too spectacular here... This is one of those places where u'll have to bring in ur own crowd to have fun...
