I love Yoshi's. I went there to see Sadao Watanabe a few weeks ago, and it was amazing. I ordered some sushi which was so fresh and soft it made me cry. I also got the ribs, which were kinda messy. (but that's to be expected) The pricing however is very high for some items, but overall definitely worth it.

Went for a friend's birthday party arranged with the club. My friends and I were on the list but still waited 75 minutes. It was a cluster. Long lines at the bar, couldn't take credit cards, rude staff. Horrible experience. Thumbs down.

Hands down, the best part of the restaurant is the ambiance (as if you couldn't guess). I love pirates, so I was in heaven. The pirate ship looked awesome, the walkways over alligater-infested waters were cool, and the wall decor all fit in with the theme. The mannequins were kind of creepy though, especially the one in the women's bathroom. I was also disappointed that you have to pay more to eat on the ship, and the ship doesn't open until a certain time at night. The service was great, but not too memorable. The food was ok, and was pretty expensive. I enjoyed the bread and butter the most, actually. I was disappointed that you couldn't choose the kind of medium you wanted to cook your meat in. I was extremely disappointed that they don't serve any kind of dessert fondue unless you call in advance, and the dessert they serve is for like 10 people. So there's no dessert option for a couple who loves chocolate fondue, which seemed ridiculous to me (but maybe I've been spoiled by The Melting Pot.) Overall it was a really fun place to go to just to check it out, but I think in the future I'd go here for drinks only.
